Community Spotlight: Noisebridge, Where the Classes Are Free and Nobody Is in Charge
Noisebridge in San Francisco has been running since 2007: a 6,000 sq ft hackerspace at 272 Capp Street with woodworking, electronics, laser cutters and 3D printers, operating as a do-ocracy on consensus and donations. Classes and workshops are free and open to anyone — no membership or payment required — with regular weekly events including Circuit Hacking Monday and Gamebridge.
